Could you be Mayor Sadiq Khan’s Entrepreneur 2017?
The Mayor’s Entrepreneur competition 2017 is now open. They want to hear from you if you have an idea that could create a better London for the following categories:
- Product design
- Transport in the city
- Materials / reuse and recycling / circular economies
- Energy efficiency / capture / generation
- Food / food waste
- Water management
- Other – any other idea to help create a sustainable future for London
A dragon’s den style pitch will take place at the City Hall if you are chosen as a finalist, in front of a panel of successful entrepreneurs.

Why should I enter?
With a cash prize of £20,000 to develop your smart idea the answer is obvious! But it’s not all about winning. Any student that enters can take advantage of free workshops taking place at City Hall to gain relative experience of the business world and help develop their idea.
